Rapper PnB Rock was Shot and Killed

 A star rapper was shot and killed in Los Angeles yesterday while on the way to dinner, reports TMZ. The victim, PnB Rock, had just left the recording studio after working on his latest album and was having dinner with family members when he was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant in the parking lot of Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles in South L.A. He was pronounced dead at the scene and authorities are still searching for the shooter, who they believe is driving a red Toyota Corolla with tinted windows and chrome rims. 

PnB Rock, real name Ronell Ross, was an up-and-coming rapper who many believed had a promising future in the music industry, and his death has been widely discussed both because of his potential to achieve more as well as his status as an African American man in a predominantly black neighborhood who was shot and killed by police officers. 

In an incident that has sent shockwaves through the music industry, rapper PnB Rock was fatally shot at the south Los Angeles restaurant Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles after performing on stage with 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa at their On the Run II tour stop in Inglewood, California.

The police suspect that this shooting is the result of a robbery-gone-wrong. Police say the two female victims were speaking to someone about a purchase on their phones when they were attacked by an armed robber who attempted to steal their phones at gunpoint. They attempted to fight back against him with one victim delivering a blow with her purse, but both ultimately succumbed to gunshots in their stomachs. 

People coming to the restaurant were shocked by what had happened in parking lot. Many were emotional when they found out that PnB was killed. Several people who knew him or even just shared a song on SoundCloud have said that he has done much for the hip-hop community and will be missed. The incident is being investigated as a homicide and witnesses say it looked like he was shot from inside the restaurant, according to KTLA. 

Late Tuesday night, PnB Rock was killed in a shooting outside of a South Los Angeles Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles restaurant. It was only hours later that we found out he had died from his injuries. The 27-year-old artist has been part of the game for about three years now with hit songs such as Selfish, Temperature, and more recently Love Lies. Many celebrities have already taken to social media to send condolences and post emotional tributes to PnB rock. While all the information is just now coming out about this devastating situation in general and what will happen next for his family, we can take comfort in the fact that he won't be forgotten 

Thoughts, prayers, and condolences to PnB's family as they mourn this devastating loss. It is truly a tragedy that anyone should die so young. I have no doubt that his voice will live on forever in the ears of those who loved him. Rest in peace PnB. Police do not know who the killer is. PnB Rock was very famous in 2016 after releasing his song No Feelings with Tory Lanez. Police said he did not have any gangs affiliations but it is still unknown if that has anything to do with the shooting. 

We pray that the rap community can find peace in a senseless act of violence. We had been following PnB Rock ever since he released Fuck Em with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie back in 2017. It was a song that really spoke to us because it's an anthem for people to live their life the way they want to without worrying about what others think.
